A lot of girls dream of having flawless long hair and to grow it, takes lots of time, lots of patience and some effort from you. It is important to keep hair as healthy as possible with a good diet, regular exercise, regular trims and a once monthly deep conditioning treatment.
If your hair is very fine or very damaged, then you might find it slightly harder to get your hair ultra-long but there are simply no quick tricks to achieving wondrous length for anyone. It simply takes time. If your hair is damaged then believe it or not, the best thing to do before going long, is to cut that damage away, have a really good trim before you embark on growing it.
There are supplements available that promote healthy hair and skin and people will go as far as using horse shampoo but essentially nature will take its course and on average hair will only grow roughly six inches a year, no matter what the back of a product says.
It is so easy to tire of growing your hair when it is in the in-between stages, mid-length and often style-less. The key is to keep visiting your hairdresser, go with someone you trust who will give you the desired trim and keep shape in your hair with long layers so your hair doesn’t give away that it is between lengths.
A quick fix is to master different ways of keeping your hair tied back without looking dull. Try pulling it back into a braided bun or French knot. Spice up a normally plain ponytail by parting your hair in the centre, tying it loosely at the nape of the neck and twisting the front sections of your hair on either side before pinning them back. This will also keep your hair out of your eyes if it is too short to tie back.
If your hair is not long enough to tie back try using ghd stylers to flick the ends out for a cute and playful style or backcombing into a large quiff if you are feeling brave. ghd stylers come in several different types, and when buying a professional styling tool from ghd, make sure it’s the real thing and not a counterfeit product. Visit http://bewareoffakes.ghdhair.com/ to check if the styler you are about to buy is a genuine ghd styler or not. Your hair depends on it! Fake ghds can damage your hair to the extreme, while genuine ghd stylers protect your hair while styling it.
If you are really serious about growing your hair then try and avoid colouring it too much and only wash once a day so the use of your heated styling products is reduced. The healthier your hair is, the better it will look while you are growing it and the less likely you are to feel the urge to chop it all off at the halfway point!
